The challenge generated significant interest from the ecosystem, with over 110 applications submitted across the logistics and transport value chain.
After an initial screening process, 12 startups were selected for in-depth pitch sessions in Kigali, representing six regional markets : Uganda, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Tanzania, DRC, Burundi

This high-quality deal flow confirms the growing maturity of the logistics technology (LogTech) landscape in East Africa and the appetite for early-stage investment in the sector.

Strategic pitch sessions at Norrsken Africa Week

In parallel with Norrsken Africa Week 2025, Digital Africa and AGL co-hosted a full day of pitch sessions at the Norrsken campus.

Startups presented solutions spanning last-mile delivery, mobility management, emergency transport, warehouse operations, payments and verification systems : all critical to strengthening Africa’s logistics infrastructure.

Selected startups will now be considered for :

• Seed and early-stage investment opportunities
• Entry into Digital Africa acceleration programs
• Admission into AGL’s Yiri Logistics Innovation Hub
• Potential commercial partnerships with AGL

This combined pipeline of capital, technical support and market access positions Accelerate X Fuzé as a unique investment vehicle for high-growth LogTech solutions.

Final clap : an ecosystem mixer to build a stronger investment networks

To complement the pitch sessions, we organized an Ecosystem Mixer at the Norrsken campus, bringing together more than 80 investors, operators, founders and ecosystem leaders.

This gathering strengthened regional investment networks, promoted cross-border collaboration and facilitated targeted conversations around LogTech investment opportunities in East Africa.
